Gáldar Agricultural Market in Plaza de Santiago
Details
The Plaza de Santiago will once again become a meeting point for producers and consumers this Sunday, June 28, with the celebration of a new edition of the Gáldar Agricultural Market. The event will take place between 9:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. and continues to consolidate itself as a benchmark biweekly event for the purchase of fresh, local and proximity products in the north of Gran Canaria. It is promoted by the Department of Socioeconomic Development, coordinated by Tine Martín Ojeda. During the day, the public will be able to access a wide range of products from the primary sector and artisanal production on the Island, including seasonal fruit and vegetables, cheeses, honey, bread, sweets and other local products. In addition, the Association for the Promotion and Economic Development of Gáldar (Fomento de Gáldar) will organize various complementary activities to enliven the morning, including a magic show by the magician Leonel at 11:30 a.m., the drawing of a trip and a cultural gymkhana. galdar.es
