✍🏻 Registration is now open to take part in the 4th Pino Santo Alto Trail, which will be held next December 6. This race goes beyond competition to become an opportunity to walk and discover the paths and historic trails that cross the deepest part of the Protected Landscape of Pino Santo, an area of great scenic value. 🗣️ “The area of Pino Santo is a very large territory that was once criss-crossed by paths, tracks, and roads,” explains Cristian Ortiz, president of the La Caldera de Pino Santo Alto Neighborhood Association. In each edition, the holding of the race is also linked to the recovery of routes: “This year the work will focus on recovering two historic paths and restoring several others that were damaged by the rains last winter,” as an example of cooperation between public institutions and local residents. 🏃🏽‍♂️🏃🏻‍♀️ The 4th Pino Santo Trail has the support of the Municipal Sports Society of Santa Brígida as main sponsor and brings together around 300 participants every year, with special mention of participants from other nationalities and regions of Spain, including both trail runners and hikers. In the case of the Trail, residents of the municipality may also compete for the SMDSB Trophy, reserved for local participants. While the route will be published in the coming days, the organizers announce in advance that this year a new course will be designed, as usual, of 12 kilometers.
