✨ INSTALA!!!! with Loose Parts ✨ Yesterday we wrapped up in Gran Canaria two intense and transformative days about Play Ecosystems and large-scale play installations, led by Priscilla Vela. We went over the theoretical foundations of participatory art and Loose Parts, explored how to conceive the space itself as one more loose part, and asked ourselves how to integrate these ecosystems into 21st-century education 🌱 And then, hands-on: a practical workshop where we moved from the initial planning to the real setup — from choosing materials and working with sensory experience, to techniques of ephemeral architecture and documentation of the process. Endless thanks to Priscilla Vela for sharing her knowledge, her experience, and her wonderfully generous way of teaching 💚 And thanks to all the participants for their energy, their questions, and their desire to create bigger, freer, and more creative play spaces.
