Chapter 2: Designing a Top We continue stitching community together with Ponyclub Studio. After the first chapter, where we got closer to the sewing machine and created our own bag, a new session arrives to keep learning through practice: this time we will design and make a designer top. Guided by Lyelysianne, fashion and print designer, we will work on shapes, simple patterns, materials and finishes to create a unique piece, made by you and for you. The idea is to keep gradually building confidence with sewing: understanding how a garment is constructed, experimenting with design and learning by doing, without pressure and in community. No previous experience is required. If you came to the first workshop, this will be the natural next step; and if it’s your first time, you can also join. If you have your own sewing machine, you can bring it to work with it during the workshop. As the session will be long, you can bring something to eat there and take a break during the workshop.
