Santa Brígida Handicraft Fair - Anniversary Edition
Details
🛍️ The Santa Brígida Craft Fair returns on Saturday, 5 September, to the Municipal Park with a wide and varied selection of creations and with a special celebration: it has been one year since this monthly event moved to the municipal park, where every first Saturday of the month becomes a showcase for artisanal talent and traditional crafts. 🎂 🎉 To mark this anniversary, a basket of handmade products will be raffled among those attending. A total of fifteen stalls will take part in this event, which from 10:00 to 15:00 will allow residents and visitors to discover a wide variety of handcrafted creations, from jewellery and costume jewellery, porcelain modelling, decorative elves, floral arrangements, candle making and delicate pieces of patchwork and macramé. The offer includes accessories and all kinds of fashion items, as well as pieces made of resin, paper, fabric, silk and glass, along with crochet dolls and pieces, notebooks, journals, backpacks, handbags, purses, clothing, scarves and hats. There will also be ceramics, decorative pieces and household items, as well as cutlery and other handcrafted work. The proposal is completed with handmade candles and soaps, leather goods and pieces made from materials such as wood, clay, earthenware, ceramics and horn. Added to this are small decorative objects, personal accessories, gift items and other unique creations that highlight manual work, creativity and the knowledge passed down through generations. Organised by the Santa Brígida Town Council, through the Department of Commerce, Rural Development and Municipal Markets, headed by Carmen Juez, the initiative reaffirms its commitment to local commerce and to craftsmanship as a driver of economic and cultural revitalisation, in a space where tradition and innovation coexist naturally.
