The City Council of Santa Brígida, through the Department of Historical and Cultural Heritage, announces the upcoming training course Introduction to Traditional Pottery, which will take place at the Centro Locero de La Atalaya from August 19 to October 28. Sessions will be held regularly on Mondays and Wednesdays from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., led by master artisan Domingo Díaz Barrios. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about the traditional clay-working techniques typical of La Atalaya and the rich cultural heritage linked to traditional pottery. The course aims not only to pass on practical knowledge, but also to highlight one of the most emblematic craft expressions of Gran Canaria, promoting creativity and respect for local traditions.
