Entre Versos y Arena
Details
Between Verses and Sand: theatre and flamenco to turn absence into memory and transformation Cristina Rivero Arencibia and Marta Fernández Alemán present at the Auditorio de Valleseco a performance that addresses grief through the body, the spoken word and movement. The show will take place on Friday the 9th, at 8:30 p.m., at the Auditorio de Valleseco, with tickets priced at 8 euros available at tureservaonline.es There are absences that hurt, but also transform. There are memories that remain and silences that need a body in order to be expressed. From this premise emerges Between Verses and Sand, a stage proposal that combines theatre and flamenco to explore absence, grief and memory from an intimate, sensorial and profoundly human perspective. The performance, starring Cristina Rivero Arencibia and Marta Fernández Alemán, arises from the need to address absence as a space charged with meaning. In Between Verses and Sand, grief is not presented only as a passage marked by pain, but also as a process of transformation and re-signification. Through the spoken word, the body and movement, theatre and flamenco become complementary languages to give voice to silence, body to loss and movement to memory. The proposal seeks to create an emotional and sensorial experience in which the audience can establish a dialogue with their own experiences and recognize themselves in the different stages that accompany processes of loss. The performance will be presented at the Auditorio de Valleseco on Friday the 9th, at 8:30 p.m., as part of the municipality’s cultural programme. Tickets will be priced at 8 euros and can be purchased through tureservaonline.es.
