“Subtlety in Totality” Art Exhibition
Details
The Casa de la Cultura of Arucas exhibits “Subtlety in Totality”, an artistic journey between science, art and spirituality The Arucas City Council, through the Department of Culture, Democratic Memory and Historical Heritage managed by Claudia Foret, presents the painting exhibition “Subtlety in Totality”, which can be visited until 15 August in the exhibition hall and the auditorium of the Casa de la Cultura, from Monday to Friday, on working days, from 9:00 to 14:00. The proposal brings together more than fifty works by visual artist and digital illustrator Raquel Adán Rubio, known as Rachel AR (artroundtrip), created in different formats and using techniques such as acrylic, oil, watercolour, collage, ink on paper, coloured pencils, crackle, marker and mixed media. In statements to radioarucas, the creator explained that the exhibition is born from observing the patterns that order nature and from the connection that exists among all living beings. She also pointed out that geometry and mathematics, represented in elements such as the Fibonacci sequence or the golden ratio, occupy a prominent place in her creative process. Many of her compositions, she added, arise from images that she perceives intuitively and whose meaning she understands as time goes by. The collection invites visitors to reflect on totality as a principle that links everything from the smallest organisms to the immensity of the cosmos. Through her canvases, Rachel AR invites the public to question whether the decisions that shape life are born of consciousness or of fear, building a bridge between artistic creation, scientific knowledge and the spiritual dimension. The artist encourages local residents and those who visit our municipality this summer to come to the Casa de la Cultura to enjoy an exhibition that offers a unique view of the universe and the close relationship that unites all forms of existence.
