The Great Circus of La Villa
Details
The Santa Brígida Town Council, together with the creative factory Timbiriqui Producciones, invites you to “El Gran Circo de La Villa”. The show, which is free of charge, will take place on Friday, July 17, with a children’s workshop and a thrilling evening. ▪️6:00 p.m. | Children’s Circus Workshop (Library): The youngest ones will stop being mere spectators to become artists for a day. Guided by the professionals of the ring themselves, they will learn their secrets. ▪️8:00 p.m. | Grand Circus Gala (Cultural Center): The stage will be transformed into a melting pot of disciplines with true heavyweights of the performing arts: - Masters of ceremonies Chincheta & Carmen Zola: Luis Monzón / Timbiriqui will be in charge of steering the evening’s laughter. At his side, Carmen Zola will bring freshness and elegance so that the connection between the audience and the stage is complete. - Company Sky Circus (Tenerife) | Gema Escobar (seasoned in the legendary company La Fura dels Baus and trained at the Rogelio Rivel school) and Pedro Torres (graduated from Carampa) bring their acclaimed production Carousel. - Sena Ilusionista | Magic with academic stamp: He is one of the most unique magicians in the archipelago. His proposal walks the tightrope of high‑risk escapology, seasoned with cheekiness and sharp comedy. - Daniel Diabolo | The virtuosity of Cirque du Soleil: 25 years of experimentation back Daniel Blasco Marcos, an artist who has toured with giants such as Cirque du Soleil and the Canadian company Les 7 Doigts de la Main. He will present excerpts from his show Asíndeton, a hypnotic choreography where diabolos and strings light up to the rhythm of a powerful soundtrack. - Toto Juggling | Chilean juggler who has amassed more than 30 international awards. A virtuoso of object manipulation who has left his mark in temples such as Circo Price in Madrid or Circus Klezmer. - Seba Clown | Poetry in the form of soap: The Menorcan Sebastián Ametller (former president of the company “Made in Jabón”) brings Bubble Clown, a dreamlike journey of theatre made of gigantic, delicate and astonishing soap bubbles that promises to freeze time. Are you going to miss it?
