Under the slogan "38th year, eating sancocho", Piedra Pómez celebrates 38 years on stage. The Canarian comedy duo returns to Sala Jerónimo Saavedra on July 11 at 8:30 p.m. with "YOMEMATOTOA". It hasn’t been easy to get this far. Especially now that cherne (wreckfish) is trading on the stock exchange. They could have chosen another Canarian dish as inspiration… maybe. But sancocho was the only one that rhymed with 38. And besides, it goes perfectly with a good wine, a pella de gofio and, of course, mojo. This monographic show by the popular Canarian comedy duo is dedicated to the YOMEMATOTOA Laboratories as a token of gratitude for their unconditional support. A one-hundred-percent Japanese company, but with a Canarian heart, just as reflected in the slogan of its founder and benefactor, Kashito Mematotoa. Also following the recommendations of the Tax Office, which insists that we must all pay our taxes, Piedra Pómez pays tribute to those who have supported them from their early days, when nobody would give a peseta for them, right up to today, when nobody will give a euro either. Because YOMEMATOTOA Laboratories managed to see in them what no one else has seen… or perhaps something that is still waiting to be discovered.
