This Saturday something unusual is happening in Vegueta 🍷 Rosario Fillol and Tara Ozols are coming, and they have chosen their eight favourite Canary wines to taste with us. Rosario is an oenologist and technical director of Viñedos de Alcohuaz, in the Elqui Valley in Chile. Vines at 2,200 metres, on the edge of the desert, where it seems nothing should grow. Tara won the Michelin Award for Best Sommelier of Great Britain and Ireland, being the first person to receive it. Today she is head of wines at HiStory Hospitality, the group of chef Tom Sellers, with two Michelin stars. She is also an ambassador for La Grande Dame, by Veuve Clicquot, and co-founder of La Bodega Todos, in Gran Canaria. Both of them could talk about any wine in the world.
