🌊 Bajar la madre premieres the programme ‘Intempéries. A vulnerability situated offshore’.📍 On Saturday 7/11 in Vega de San Mateo and on Sunday 8/11 in the capital neighbourhood of San Cristóbal. 🟢 Free entry 🏝️ This first gathering between archipelagos of Macaronesia is titled ‘Pendulantes. Tidal influences’ and features the islands of Faial and São Miguel in the Azores as guests. We want to reflect on how the sea influences island and Atlantic lives, from the perspective of territory, contemporary creation, and social resilience. ‘Intempéries’ is a project made in the Canary Islands for a Macaronesian Atlanticity. 🌍 For two days, we will enjoy mediation activities, workshops and a concert with artistic, scientific and community figures from the Canary Islands and the Azores, which we will be sharing in more detail over the coming days. 😍 We will also have Gara, from Vegamundo Canarias, who has designed a specific vegan menu for the programme, inspired by the sea. We will also have a Portuguese–Spanish interpreter. 📍Saturday 7 November at the AAVV Cueva Grande in San Mateo (next to the 🚌 stop) and Sunday 8 November in the San Cristóbal neighbourhood, in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. From the heart of the island to the sea, bringing together in a single cartography the very meaning of the water that surrounds us. More info very soon!
