Canary Islands Day is celebrated at the Mercado de Guía! This coming Saturday, May 30, we are waiting for you with a morning full of tradition, family activities, traditional games, and live music to enjoy together our roots and the best atmosphere. At 11:00 a.m., the little ones will be able to take part in the children’s workshop “Create Your Aromatic Pot”, a creative activity to paint, plant, and discover our surroundings in a fun way. At 11:30 a.m. the traditional Canarian games will begin, with activities such as bola canaria and bottle-cap games, bringing back customs that are part of our culture. And from 12:00 p.m., the group Noroeste Guiense will provide the music and festive atmosphere for this special day at the Mercado de Guía. In addition, you can enjoy our stalls, gastronomy, local products, and the charm of sharing a Canary Islands Day with the whole family.
