We are back! After nine years, a very special event for sport in the municipality of Mogán is returning. The Arguineguín Popular Race, which held its editions between 2014 and 2017, is evolving to adapt to a new concept and a new era. Mogán Sunset Run is born: a race designed to enjoy the summer, sport, and one of the most spectacular sunsets in Gran Canaria. With this new stage we want to turn August 8 into a great open-air sports festival, open both to residents and to the thousands of visitors who each summer choose Mogán as a holiday and sports destination. On August 8... we run together again. Tomorrow, July 8 at 8:00 p.m. we launch with the Welcome Summer rate. 5K / Kids Races August 8, 2026 From 8:00 p.m. onwards... Arguineguín Website: https://www.moganenmovimiento.com/ We are keeping the essence that made that race great: an event for the whole family. But now we are taking a step further, with a renewed image, a format adapted to the summer, and an experience that combines sport, tourism, and the unique sunset atmosphere on the coast of Mogán. Mogán Sunset Run does not replace our history; it is its evolution. Thank you to everyone who was part of those first editions and to those who will be joining this new adventure for the first time.
