🐟📣 O Carballiño, guest of honour at the Mogán Tuna and Sea Fair in November The 9th Mogán Tuna and Sea Fair, to be held on 20 and 21 November, will feature O Carballiño (Ourense) as guest of honour, a benchmark of the Galician octopus tradition and the emblematic Festa do Pulpo. The announcement took place in Lanzarote during the presentation of the island as guest of honour at the 64th Festa do Pulpo de O Carballiño, which will be held on 8 and 9 August. Mogán will also be present at this event to promote its Tuna and Sea Fair. The event was attended by the Mogán Councillor for Fisheries, Víctor Gutiérrez, and the Councillor for Youth, Emily Quintana, together with the President of the Lanzarote Island Council, Oswaldo Betancort, and the Mayor of O Carballiño, José Castro-Gil, among other authorities. The participation of O Carballiño will enrich the Mogán fair through the exchange of experiences, techniques and traditions linked to the sea, while also strengthening the promotion of local, zero‑kilometre fishery products. 🔗www.mogan.es
