Fifth Anniversary Family Day at Museo Agáldar
Details
The Agáldar Museum of City History will celebrate its fifth anniversary on July 10 with a special programme that will also include activities and events aimed at families, transforming the emblematic Patio of the Casa Capitán Quesada into a sound laboratory, an art workshop and a gathering around threads, to end with laughter thanks to _El Show de Tadeo_. The 18th-century building that houses the museum will open its doors to offer a morning full of workshops and shows designed for all ages. The programme will begin at 10:00 a.m. with the Sound Laboratory, a sensory activity for babies from 0 to 3 years old led by Laura Bosa. At 11:00 a.m. two simultaneous workshops will take place: the Art Workshop for children from 4 to 9 years old, led by Laura Iballa, and the proposal “Embroider the Museum”, aimed at participants over 9 years old with the artist Ody Companioni, in which they will try to create portraits using threads. Registrations for these workshops can be made via WhatsApp on +34 649 300 304. The day will culminate at 12:00 noon with El Show de Tadeo, a circus and magic show for all audiences, putting the finishing touch to a morning designed and coordinated by Ocho Pies, which has been providing cultural and educational services for children for 10 years. Admission will be free until full capacity is reached. With this celebration, the Agáldar Museum reaffirms its commitment to promoting the historical and cultural heritage of the municipality, offering a recreational and educational proposal that brings the history of Gáldar closer to the new generations, while the Municipal Department of Museums consolidates its intergenerational, artistic and playful approach. We look forward to seeing you.
