4 AUGUST! The big day of the LA RAMA DE AGAETE 2026 Fiesta is here! If there is a festival capable of getting an entire town dancing and moving to tears those who experience it for the first time, it is La Rama de Agaete. From the early hours before dawn, Agaete fills with music, tradition, and emotion. The Diana wakes the town and marks the beginning of an unforgettable day that culminates with thousands of people walking through the streets, waving branches to the rhythm of the marching bands. A unique spectacle, full of joy, color, friendship, and fun, that turns this corner of Gran Canaria into a true explosion of celebration. We also congratulate Paula Barroso Pérez, creator of the winning poster for the Fiestas de Las Nieves de Agaete 2026. Congratulations on giving an image to such a special celebration! Programme for 4 August: 05:00 – Diana. Descent of the marching bands. Departure of La Rama. Offering to the Virgin of Las Nieves. Papagüevos and parrandas (traditional music groups). Music and festive atmosphere throughout the day. Street party (verbena) and a grand finale. Gather your friends, put on comfortable clothes, and come experience one of the most emblematic festivals in the Canary Islands! La Rama is waiting for you!
