Considered one of the most influential figures in contemporary jazz, Fred Hersch has developed a career of more than three decades as a pianist, composer, bandleader, collaborator, and educator. Nominated fifteen times for the Grammy Awards, his work has been internationally recognized for the elegance of his musical language, his capacity for innovation, and an artistic sensitivity that has shaped several generations of performers.
