“Final Showcase – Summer & Dance 2026” is the performance that is the result of the educational program Summer & Dance 2026. A very special show in which the students will share with us what they have learned over the two weeks of the program together with the team of performing arts professionals in the disciplines of Classical Dance, Contemporary Dance, Musical Jazz, Hip-Hop and Singing, Rhythm and Percussion. The educational program Summer & Dance is aimed at children and young people between 7 and 15 years old who want to get closer to dance and the performing arts in an enjoyable and fun way. Planned by a group of professionals in different disciplines, for two weeks the students receive dance classes in styles as varied as Classical Dance, Contemporary Dance, Musical Jazz and Hip-Hop, and they also benefit from physical conditioning and relaxation through Pilates and Yoga exercises. The program is complemented by various workshops related to the world of the stage, such as Singing, Rhythm and Percussion, Acting, Choreographic Composition and Make-up, culminating in the preparation and presentation of the show “Final Showcase – Summer & Dance 2026”, in which the students will experience the full reality of being on stage. Beyond the stage, this proposal promotes a holistic education that boosts physical and emotional well-being through dance and the performing arts, awakening new artistic vocations, nurturing the talent of young people while also bringing them closer to landmark venues of cultural life in the city of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, such as the Teatro Pérez Galdós.
