Mogán promotes new training and employment opportunities linked to the nautical sector with two specialized courses during September 2026. The Mogán Town Council, through the Local Development Department, is organizing: Official Navigation License Course 18, 19 and 20 September From 08:30 to 15:00 Theoretical and practical training to obtain the license. Includes teaching materials, civil liability insurance, approved vessel and qualified instructors. A medical certificate will be required, which is also valid for the Personal Watercraft Instructor course. Personal Watercraft Instructor Course 25 and 26 September Practical training aimed at work in rental companies and nautical activity providers. Includes an official certificate from the Madrid Powerboating Federation. Both initiatives aim to improve employability, strengthen safety and professionalize nautical activities in Mogán and Gran Canaria.
