Next Friday, July 10 at 8:00 p.m. one of the central moments of the 544th Major Festivities of Santiago will take place: the Opening Proclamation of the festivities, which this year will be given by the journalist from Gáldar, Victorio Pérez Moreno. The stage of the Guaires Cultural Center will be the place from which the well-known presenter will invite the people of Gáldar to enjoy the festivities in honor of the Holy Patron in an event that will feature the presence of the mayor of Gáldar, Teodoro Sosa, the first deputy mayor and councillor for Culture and Festivities of the Gáldar City Council, Julio Mateo Castillo, and the town crier of the last edition, the artist Mari Naty Saavedra, as well as a performance by the artist Patricia Muñoz. galdar.es
