🌊 ARUCAS AND THE SEA 2026 IS HERE! 🏄♀️🐢 The Arucas coastline fills up with sport, nature, culture and activities for all ages. The Councillor for the Environment, Chewi González, presented today on the Seafront Promenade of Los Charcones a programme designed to enjoy the sea and, above all, to learn how to take care of it. 💙 🏆 MAJOR SPORTING EVENTS 🌊 Grom King – Junior Bodyboard World Championship, Qualifying Event, on the Arucas Coast. 🏊♀️ Open-water swim of Club Carucagua, between El Puertillo and Los Charcones. 🏄♂️ Surf under-12, under-14 and bodyboard under-16. 🏄 Stand up paddle. 🤼 Exhibition of Canarian wrestling. 🤸 Slackline workshop and exhibition. 🌱 THE SEA, OUR GREAT PROTAGONIST 🧹 Coast clean-up. 🐢 Release of sea turtles. 🎓 Talks and workshops with schools. 🌊 Outings to the coast and documentaries. 📚 Bibliographic showcase “Our seas”. ♻️ Activities to get to know, respect and protect the coastline. 🎉 There will also be children’s workshops and games, music, papahuevos, shows, chikung, adapted zumba, Family Trails and much more. 🎨 Culture will also have its space with the group exhibition “Fragmented Tides”, from 16 September to 10 October at the Arucas Municipal Cultural Centre. 📅 Thursday 17 September 📍 Seafront Promenade of Los Charcones 🧹 09:00 a.m. Coast clean-up 🚲 09:30 a.m. Opening of Pedale 🌊 10:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. Fair “Our seas” 🎭 Music, papahuevos, workshops, games and children’s show 📲 Registrations: some activities require prior registration.
