El Puertillo celebrates its Santa Lucía Festivities with music, tradition and devotion The programme runs from 18 to 20 September with performances, offerings, processions and an aerial and aquatic fireworks show The schedule combines popular culture and religious events with the sea as the main protagonist El Puertillo, on the coast of Arucas, celebrates the 2026 Santa Lucía Festivities from 18 to 20 September with a programme that brings together music, folklore and tradition. The events will begin on Friday the 18th, at 9:00 p.m., with a performance by Hierba Mala in Plaza de Santa Lucía. On Saturday the 19th, at 8:30 p.m., offerings to the patron saint will take place, accompanied by the Manantial Folkloric Group, followed by a procession through El Rodadero. The night will continue with a verbena dance led by Mallombé and Ritmo Bakano and, at midnight, an aerial and aquatic fireworks show. On Sunday the 20th, at 12:00 p.m., Holy Mass will be celebrated and, at 1:00 p.m., the traditional land and sea procession will take place, with the participation of the La Salle de Agüimes Musical Group and Majorettes. El Puertillo, always in the heart: sea, people and tradition.
