Gran Canaria Frontón King 2026
Details
The best bodyboarding in the world returns to Gáldar. From October 17 to 31, El Frontón will host the fourteenth edition of the Gran Canaria Frontón King, where the men's and junior world titles will be decided. Today we present an event that once again fills its 128 spots, with athletes from 15 countries and a waiting list. For those of us who love this municipality, it is a joy to see our coastline turned into the stage for a competition of this level and to see our athletes among the main protagonists. We will be keeping a very close eye on Armide Soliveres and on our local from Gáldar, William Luján, who will compete with a wildcard from the international circuit on a wave he knows very well. From the Town Hall and the Island Council we continue to support a competition that showcases Gáldar and Gran Canaria to the world and generates activity for our businesses: more than 90% of the organization’s expenditure stays with companies and self-employed professionals on the island. Thank you to the Frontón King team for continuing to make this championship grow.
