The neighborhood of Piso Firme in Gáldar is getting ready to host the 27th edition of the Onion Festival, a celebration that highlights the uniqueness of this product grown in the area and the effort of the men and women who work it. Next Sunday, July 5, Piso Firme will once again celebrate the excellence of its onions with a program of musical performances, contests, and awards. The event is organized by the Department of Socioeconomic Development of the Gáldar City Council, headed by Tine Martín Ojeda. galdar.es
