The Youth Department launches the “Garañón” 2026 Summer Camp It is aimed at young people between 11 and 17 years of age; the pre-registration period will be open from 23 June. #Arucas, 15 June 2026. - One of the most eagerly awaited youth activities is back: the “Garañón” 2026 Summer Camp, which will take place from 17 to 21 August in the heart of Gran Canaria. Arucas City Council, through the Youth Department, will open the pre-registration period next Tuesday, 23 June. This initiative is aimed at young people aged between 11 and 17 and offers five days of living together, contact with nature and outdoor activities. It also includes water-based activities and group dynamics focused on personal and social development. Interested families will be able to complete the pre-registration process between 23 and 30 June, or until all available places are filled, as numbers are limited. The participation fee for the summer camp will be 150 euros per young person. Bookings can be made online through the Arucas City Council e-office, as well as in person at the Citizen Service Office, for which an appointment must be booked in advance.
