🥾 On October 24, we invite you to take part in an Interpretive Route through Montaña de Amagro, an opportunity to get to know up close some of the most unique and endangered plant species of Gran Canaria. The activity is part of the campaign “Conocer para Conservar. Flora única, futuro común” (“Know to Conserve. Unique flora, shared future”), an outreach initiative organized by the Jardín Botánico Canario “Viera y Clavijo” and the Environmental Department of the Cabildo de Gran Canaria, with the collaboration of the Environmental Council of the Gáldar City Council, headed by Ulises Miranda Guerra. 🌱 During the route we will be able to discover the uniqueness of the endemic plants found in the Protected Natural Areas of Gáldar, learn about the main threats that jeopardize their survival, and learn more about the work being carried out to support their conservation and recovery.
