Details

From the Department of Equality of the Arucas City Council, we would like to invite the public to take part in our programme of events “Arte en Femenino” (Art in the Feminine), a programme that places art, culture, and the role of women as creators and protagonists of different artistic disciplines at its centre. This initiative was created with the aim of making women’s contribution to the world of culture and art visible and recognised, offering the public different spaces for meeting, participation, and enjoyment around artistic creation. The programme brings together very diverse proposals, including workshops, exhibitions, literary gatherings, cultural visits, body expression activities, and a special radio programme, bringing to the municipality different forms of expression and different perspectives from women linked to the artistic and cultural sphere. Arte en Femenino also has the collaboration and support of various departments of the Arucas City Council, which join this initiative to make possible a diverse programme, open to the public, that highlights culture and the participation of women in the artistic field. During this programme we will be able to enjoy exhibitions such as “Geometrías” by Elisavet Iordanidou and “Dentro del cambio” by Gabriela Díaz; get to know the room dedicated to Pino Ojeda in the Arucas Municipal Museum; take part in the gardening workshop “Aromáticas”, in body expression activities, and share a day dedicated to women writers, among other proposals. Arte en Femenino is an invitation to get closer to culture, discover new proposals, and recognise the talent, creativity, and contributions of women in different artistic and cultural fields. We encourage you to consult the programme of events, learn about all the proposals, and take part in those activities that are of interest to you. We look forward to sharing this programme with you and enjoying art and culture in the feminine.🤎
