Forbidden Tales in the Water-Tank Market
Details
Free entry. Have you ever listened to *Forbidden Tales* inside a water reservoir? With free parking, 100% accessible for people with reduced mobility and a bus stop from Las Palmas right at the door. Come on Friday, August 28th to the Mercado de Guía, built inside a water reservoir, to listen to stories that the Vatican and the Inquisition never wanted to reach you. At 21:00 we start in the gastro area, where you will hear stories that will drive you crazy while you order a tapa or have dinner. Stories that include Inquisition trials for finding a forbidden book in Las Palmas in 1804, or translations that arrived in the Canary Islands full of censorship so that you would never know the real story. I’ll be waiting for you at this forbidden oral storytelling session at the Mercado de Guía.
