Pino Santo Alto is getting ready to celebrate its Festivities in Honor of the Virgin of Health 2026 with a full program of religious and popular events. 8 August ▫️8:30 p.m. – Reading of the Opening Proclamation by the Rancho de Ánimas de Arbejales (Teror), a living centenary relic of the ethnographic heritage of the Canary Islands. ▫️Afterwards, Tacones Rojos concert. 9 August ▫️10:00 a.m. – Opening of the Craft and Local Products Market, with entertainment by Sara Brito and Paco. ▫️From 10:00 a.m., the Teodoro Torres Equestrian Arena hosts the “Day of Traditions” with a threshing demonstration with two yoke teams, cow milking, distribution of milk and gofio, sheep shearing, and donkey rides. ▫️12:00 p.m. – Mass for the deceased of the neighborhood (in the Outdoor Tent / Sports Court). ▫️1:00 p.m. – Foam Party. 11 August ▫️5:00 p.m. – Bouncy castles, face painting, and youth games. Organized by the Department of Youth. ▫️6:00 p.m. – Get-in-shape masterclass. Organized by the Municipal Sports Company. 13 August ▫️8:00 p.m. – Tasting of typical dishes and Bingo. 14 August ▫️7:30 p.m. – Welcome of pilgrims from Arbejales and San Isidro. ▫️8:00 p.m. – Holy Mass of the Sick in the Outdoor Tent / Sports Court. ▫️9:00 p.m. – Lip-sync show (Escala en Hi-Fi) presented by Carolina del Olmo (El Tocador de Nina). 15 August ▫️8:00 p.m. – Departure of the Virgin of Health from the Hermitage. ▫️8:00 p.m. – Pilgrimage–Offering to the Virgin of Health with Parranda Pedro Hidalgo and A.F. Iballa. (Offering for Cáritas Santa Brígida). ▫️10:30 p.m. – Grand Dance entertained by Ritmo Bakano and DJ Álvaro Rodríguez. 16 August ▫️6:00 p.m. – Religious Service officiated by parish priest Vito Ondó and sung by A.F. La Zarzalera (Pino Santo Bajo). ▫️Procession accompanied by the Guiniguada Music Band. ▫️8:30 p.m. – Traditional theatrical monologue “Your accent sounds familiar to me” by Antonia de Aguatona. ▫️At the end, hot chocolate with churros. The Festival Committee of Pino Santo Alto thanks the commitment of the residents, as well as the support of the Island Council of Gran Canaria, the Town Council of Santa Brígida, and the local businesses that make the festivities possible.
