The village neighborhood of La Milagrosa is getting ready to celebrate its “Festivities with History” with an extensive program of activities The neighborhood of La Milagrosa is putting the final touches on the start of its festivities under the slogan “Fiestas de La Milagrosa: Fiestas con historia” (Festivities of La Milagrosa: Festivities with History). The program will officially begin this Saturday at 5:00 p.m. with the opening of the exhibition “Women with History”, continuing at 8:00 p.m. with the adult Escala en hi-fi by the group Con ganas de vivir and leading into a lively open-air dance at 10:30 p.m. with a performance by Roberto Santana. On Sunday, July 26, activities will start very early with the pétanque championship organized by the Engalíate Sports Club at 10:00 a.m., followed at 11:00 a.m. by a foam party and inflatables for the little ones. In the afternoon, at 5:00 p.m., there will be a charity bingo. On Monday 27 and Tuesday 28 July at 5:00 p.m. a card game tournament will be held, while on Wednesday 29 and Thursday 30 July the charity bingo will be held again at the same time. The main weekend will kick off on Friday, July 31 at 10:00 p.m. with a Night of Comedy and Drag Bingo, featuring performances by Montenegro and Isabella y punto, followed at midnight by music from DJ Gio Castellano. On Saturday, August 1, events will start at 12:00 p.m. with a motorcycle exhibition, followed at 1:00 p.m. by an open-air dance led by “Yonay y sus teclados”. The evening will culminate at 10:00 p.m. with the Grand open-air dance. The final touch to the festivities will come on Sunday, August 2. The emotional and religious day will begin at 11:30 a.m. with the Solemn Eucharist and procession, accompanied by the band Aires de la Aldea.
