La Aldea will hold the third edition of the Palmeras Festival on August 15 The event, organized by the Departments of Festivities and Environment, will open the program of the patron saint festivities in honor of San Nicolás de Tolentino and will once again bring together music, nature and togetherness on Avenida San Nicolás. The Town Council of La Aldea de San Nicolás will hold the third edition of the Palmeras Festival on August 15, an initiative organized by the Departments of Festivities and Environment which, since its creation in 2024, has become one of the events that mark the beginning of the patron saint festivities in honor of San Nicolás de Tolentino. The festival will take place on Avenida San Nicolás, from 9:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m., and will feature performances by Orishas, Aduana Maya, Nueva Vibra and DJ Anthony Boada, who will provide the soundtrack to a night of music and togetherness for residents and visitors. As part of the Palmeras Festival program, during the event the photographs participating in the Palmeras Photography Contest can be viewed, an exhibition that will allow attendees to enjoy the images submitted to the competition and highlight one of the most representative natural elements of the municipality. The Councilor for Festivities, Leandra Delgado García, emphasized that “with the Palmeras Festival we begin an August full of activities with which we welcome our patron saint festivities in honor of San Nicolás de Tolentino. We have prepared a program designed so that residents and visitors can enjoy and share moments with their friends and families, filling our streets with atmosphere, music and togetherness. We invite all citizens to take part and to experience intensely some festivities that we have organized with great enthusiasm.” The Palmeras Festival has consolidated itself as one of the key dates in the festive calendar, bringing together music, nature and citizen participation at the start of patron saint festivities that will once again fill the municipality with activities for all audiences. From the Town Council, people are encouraged to
