🕊️ ARUCAS PAYS TRIBUTE TO THE VICTIMS OF THE MILITARY COUP, THE CIVIL WAR AND THE FRANCO DICTATORSHIP The Association for Historical Memory of Arucas (AMHA), chaired by Pino Sosa, is organizing two tribute events next Saturday, October 31, as part of the conference series Los Pozos del Olvido 2026. 📍 TIMES AND VENUES 🕥 10:30 a.m. – Pozo del Puente de Arucas. 🕛 12:00 p.m. – Pozo del Puente de Tenoya. The events will include the reading of a manifesto, a floral offering and a minute of silence in remembrance of all the victims. 💜 A day to honor those who were persecuted, dignify their memory and keep alive the commitment to truth, justice and reparation. The work of the AMHA, driven for years by relatives, volunteers and supporters, has been essential in the search for and identification of people who disappeared during the Civil War. Among the most significant findings is the discovery of the remains of Pino Sosa’s father, located in 2017 in the well in the ravine of Tenoya. 📢 To remember is also an act of justice. The conference series is supported by the Arucas City Council and the Cabildo of Gran Canaria.
