The La Aldea Town Council promotes youth leisure with a cultural and sports trip to Bilbao The La Aldea de San Nicolás Town Council will open registrations on 13 July to take part in a trip to Bilbao aimed at 15 young people from the municipality. The initiative, which will take place from 7 to 10 August, seeks to offer a proposal for healthy leisure activities for young people. The trip, subsidised by the Department of Education and Youth of the Cabildo of Gran Canaria, includes a full itinerary that will allow participants to discover some of the main attractions of the Biscayan capital. There will be guided tours of the city, a tour of the San Mamés stadium, a day of adventure activities with KNS Aventura, and a guided visit to the Guggenheim Museum. This initiative is aimed at young people registered as residents in La Aldea de San Nicolás, aged between 18 and 30, and they must meet this requirement throughout the entire duration of the trip. In the event that underage individuals submit an application, the corresponding authorisation from their legal guardians will be required. Interested persons have from 13 to 24 July to submit their application, attaching the specific participation application form together with personal identification documentation, or that of the person signing the authorisation if the interested party is still a minor before the trip takes place, and the attached document regarding the application for participation in activities organised by the Department of Youth. The procedure can be completed through the Town Council’s Electronic Registry, at the Office for Assistance on Registry Matters of the Town Council, or at post offices.
