On Friday, August 21st, 2026, at 9:00 p.m., we will have for the first time “ASHA DÚO,” who are coming from Argentina and stopping by Buenos Aires Jazz Café. Asha is a duo formed by Shantala Ferreyra (clarinet) and Andrés Viteri (piano), created in 2022 as a space for musical and compositional exploration. Their proposal focuses on improvisation, the crossing of musical languages, and the search for their own sound, with a strong influence from Latin American music. In 2024 they released their first album, "Simples," featuring original music recorded in a quartet format. They are currently working on their second album, this time as a duo, which will be developed during an artist residency at “Lyseloth,” while they continue performing in various venues and cultural centers in Buenos Aires.
