Foundational Festivities 548th anniversary of the Founding of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria #RebeliónDeLaGeografía On Friday, June 12, the opening speech by Lourdes Santana will kick off the festive program. Right afterwards, a special concert by the GC Big Band will set the rhythm of the night. This key jazz ensemble in the Canary Islands will feature the talent on timple of Abraham Ramos and the vocal power of Manuel Estupiñán and Beatriz Pérez from Última Llave, bringing together tradition and modernity to recreate the sounds of the iconic Big Bands.
