Dinamiza Rural: Flavors of La Aldea
Details
The flavors of La Aldea once again win over the participants of Dinamiza Rural The Labraldea Neighborhood Association hosted this Friday the second of the three days of the Dinamiza Rural program, an initiative promoted by the Government of the Canary Islands in collaboration with Gestión del Medio Rural de Canarias to encourage knowledge and consumption of local primary-sector products under the brand "La Aldea, Pantry of Flavors". During this new session, attendees enjoyed a complete gastronomic experience in which they were able to taste different varieties of wine, cheese, and honey from La Aldea, discovering the characteristics, aromas, and nuances that make these local products unique. The day also included the preparation and tasting of the traditional honey soup from La Palma, the making of gofio and chocolate truffles, and participation in a cocktail workshop featuring local fruits and tea, with and without alcohol, highlighting the versatility and enormous potential of the products from our land. This activity is the second of the three events that will take place until next August 7 within this program, which will continue bringing the flavors, textures, and culinary possibilities of the products of La Aldea closer to the public through new participatory experiences.
