The Health School launches a training series on emotional management in Bañaderos The programme will address psychological well-being with practical workshops, creative tools and a community-based approach during June. The Health School continues its training schedule with a new series focused on emotional management, which will take place at the Multi-Purpose Building of Bañaderos on 2 and 30 June at 10:30 a.m. These sessions are aimed at promoting emotional well-being, offering practical tools and encouraging the care of mental health among citizens. This initiative is part of the Health Education Project "Health School", promoted by the Basic Health Zone of Arucas and the Maresía Women’s Association, with the collaboration of the Canary Islands Health Service, Arucas Town Council and Localiza Salud. The first day, on 2 June, titled "Psychological Approach and Focus on Mental Health", will be given by Minerva Pérez Medina, psychologist of the Social Services of Arucas Town Council. During the session, aspects related to the understanding and management of emotions will be addressed from a psychological and community perspective. The second session, on 30 June, will feature the workshop "Theatrical Tools for Emotional Management", led by Sara del Carmen Pulido Rodríguez, who holds a degree in Dramatic Art (ECP). This proposal will offer practical and expressive dynamics to work on emotions through theatrical and creative resources. Today, on the programme "Las Mañanas de Arucas" on Radio Arucas, joining us, in addition to Minerva and Sara, are nurse Enoc Suárez and the president of Maresía, Ángeles Pérez.
