If you like, from Arucas we’re going to “El Pino” The City Council is providing residents of the municipality with round-trip transport to take part in the Pilgrimage-Offering to Our Lady of El Pino on next 7 September. Arucas, 11 August 2026. – The Arucas City Council, through the Department of Festivities, is making a free transport service available to the public to attend the Pilgrimage-Offering in honour of Our Lady of El Pino, which will be held on Monday, 7 September. As every year, and due to the interest of the residents of the municipality in being present at the feast in honour of the Patroness of the Diocese of the Canary Islands, the City Council will provide transport for both the outward and return journey from Arucas. To maintain the solemnity of the Feast and uphold our traditions, those wishing to take part in the pilgrimage-offering are reminded that it is mandatory to dress appropriately in traditional Canarian costume. Only those who follow the dress protocol will be allowed to join the procession representing the municipality, which this year, on the occasion of its 25th anniversary, will be carried on the traditional cart that the Salsipuedes Association will prepare for the occasion. The reservation period for seats for the trip and return to Arucas will be open until Tuesday, 1 September, and can be completed through the Department of Festivities, either in person or by telephone at: 928 628 159 / 958 605 854.
