Cantares a Gáldar Folk Festival

The week of folklore continues to fill the 544th Major Festivities of Santiago with tradition. On July 14, at 8:30 p.m., Plaza de Santiago will host a new edition of the festival “Cantares a Gáldar”, an event dedicated to Canarian popular music and to the gathering of groups that keep our cultural heritage alive. On stage will perform the Folkloric Group Farallón de Tabata and the Folkloric Group Manantial del Real de Las Palmas, in an evening that will also feature the special participation of the timple player Laura Martel and the voice of the winner of Voces de Gáldar 2025, Isabel Díaz Cruz, adding even more sparkle to a night filled with tradition, emotion, and feeling. An invitation to enjoy our roots and one of the most special weeks of the Major Festivities of Santiago.
