🌱 Conference on Land Banks in the Canary Islands On June 4, 2026, the Experimental Agricultural Farm of the Cabildo of Gran Canaria, in Arucas, will host a training day dedicated to Land Banks, a key tool to promote the use of agricultural land, encourage generational renewal in farming, and boost the rural economy. In the morning, management experiences developed in Tenerife, Gran Canaria, and El Bierzo will be presented, creating a space for the exchange of knowledge and good practices. In addition, the example of the Reinette apple and its connection with cider production as a driver of local development will be addressed. The initiative is organized by AIDER Gran Canaria, in collaboration with the Land Bank of Gran Canaria and with the support of the Cabildo of Gran Canaria and the Government of the Canary Islands.
