✨ Festivities in Honor of Our Lady the Virgin of Candelaria 2026 ✨ 📍 Vega de Acusa – Artenara You are invited to share and enjoy the scheduled events on the occasion of the Festivities in honor of the Virgin of Candelaria on October 10 and 11: 📅 Saturday, October 10 • ⛪ 12:30 p.m. At the Hermitage of Acusa, presentation of the restoration of the Holy Christ, subsidized by the Department of the Presidency of the Cabildo of Gran Canaria. We will have the presence of the restorer Mrs. Cinta Guimerans and Mr. Juan Sebastián López García (Island Director of Historical Heritage of the Cabildo of Gran Canaria). • 🎶 10:00 p.m. In the Plaza de Acusa, big open-air dance (verbena) with music by the band “DMusic”. 📅 Sunday, October 11 • 🙏 12:00 p.m. At the Hermitage of Acusa, celebration of the Eucharist in honor of Our Lady the Virgin of Candelaria, with singing by the folk group A. F. Aires del Guiniguada. • 🚶♀️ Afterwards, procession along the usual route, accompanied by the band “Banda Pasión de La Aldea”.
