One hundred content creators will meet at the Isla Awards 2026 The gala will be held on September 26, at 8:00 p.m., at the Nuevo Teatro Viejo in Arucas Arucas, September 16, 2026. - The Councillor for Economic Promotion and Tourism of the Arucas City Council, Oliver Armas, presented this Wednesday the 6th Edition of the Isla Awards, an event in which Roberto Marthiny and Alberto Pérez, director of the Isla Awards and director of Cajasiete-Arucas, respectively, also took part. The city of Arucas will host the 6th Edition of the Isla Awards, which will be held next September 26, starting at 8:00 p.m., at the Nuevo Teatro Viejo. An event that will bring together one hundred content creators, as well as professionals from the digital sector, institutions, and representatives of the commercial fabric. In this sixth edition, the work carried out in the following categories will be recognized: Positive Live, Social Awareness, Lifestyle, Gastronomy, Filmmaker-Photography and Businesses of Arucas. For each of the categories there are nine nominations and, in total, there will be 53 nominees who will compete for the different awards. The ISLA Award will be given to an institution, individual or legal entity, for its commitment to digital talent in the Canary Islands. These awards highlight those who use social media and new communication channels to inspire, inform, entertain, promote positive habits, and contribute to the economic and social development of the archipelago. This is a well-established event that positions the municipality as a meeting point for the talent, creativity and digital communication of the archipelago. It is an opportunity to generate synergies between local businesses, creators, companies, sponsors and the public.
