Once upon a time… television is a musical journey into the memories of several generations. The Gran Canaria Community Orchestra and its choir perform live some of the most beloved TV themes, from Verano azul and David el Gnomo to Un, dos, tres and El hombre y la Tierra. A concert to be moved, to smile, and to listen again to the soundtrack of our childhood and youth. There was a time when many stories began in front of the television. A melody was enough to bring the whole family together, announce an adventure, open an afternoon of cartoons, accompany an unforgettable game show or put music to characters that stayed in our memory forever. Once upon a time… television brings back that sound universe with an unusual proposal: to listen live, with orchestra and choir, to some of the most remembered TV themes. The Gran Canaria Community Orchestra invites the audience to reconnect with titles such as Curro Jiménez, David el Gnomo, Dragons and Dungeons, El gran circo de TVE, El hombre y la Tierra, Once Upon a Time… Man, Once Upon a Time… Life, Farmacia de guardia, Inspector Gadget, Un, dos, tres, Verano azul and many other melodies that are part of our shared memory. A concert designed to move you, make you smile, sing, remember and rediscover the musical richness of those themes that marked our childhood, our youth and our way of watching television.
