Gáldar, a route to discover the history of Gran Canaria The Cultural and Musical Association Los Jallaos Roniaos is offering a new cultural route to continue discovering the heritage of our island. On Saturday, September 26, the excursion “Agáldar, Santiago and El Agujero” will visit some of the most representative places in Gáldar: • Tour of the historic quarter, declared a Site of Cultural Interest (BIC), together with the city chronicler, Sebastián López. • Church of Santiago de los Caballeros. • Town Hall, Dragon Tree and Consistorial Theater. • Agáldar Museum. • Lunch at the restaurant Madrugón de Antonio Padrón. • Interpretation Center of La Guancha. • Archaeological sites of El Agujero and Bocabarranco. • Free time to enjoy the surroundings and the natural pools.
