Carlos Meneses is renowned for his originality on the double bass and for his dedication to recording most of the piano parts on his albums. His personal compositional style stands out, as do his skills in transcription, arranging, performance, and improvisation. He received a nomination for the 2023 Canary Islands Music Awards for Best Jazz Album for his work as producer, composer, and performer on the album “Like one” (2022). Carlos Meneses will perform in trio format on Thursday, May 21 at 9:00 p.m., allowing us to enjoy top-level jazz at Buenos Aires Jazz Café.
