Famous for being the lead vocalist of the legendary band Tower of Power in the seventies, he began his successful solo career in 1975. Performer of the hit “Cause I Love You” and inducted into the Rhythm & Blues Hall of Fame in 2017, he continues to release music on his own label and perform concerts in the United States, Europe, and South Africa.
