Science Talk on Threatened Flora and Conservation
Details
🌿 “Conocer para Conservar” (“Know to Conserve”) continues its journey around Gran Canaria and now arrives in Agaete. From September 28 to October 11, Puerto de las Nieves hosts the travelling exhibition of the Jardín Botánico Canario “Viera y Clavijo” – UA CSIC, dedicated to bringing us closer to the richness of our threatened flora and to the scientific and conservation work being carried out to ensure its future. 💚 An exhibition to discover unique species, learn about the challenges they face and understand that protecting our natural heritage begins with getting to know it. 🌱 The exhibition is complemented by several activities: 🎙️ Popular science talk 📅 Thursday, October 1 · 6:00 p.m. 📍 Centro Cultural de La Villa de Agaete 🎟️ Free admission until full capacity is reached. No registration required. 🥾 Interpretive hike through the Agaete Valley 📅 Saturday, October 3 🙋♀️🙋♂️ New registration opening for residents of the municipality, via the link bit.ly/inscripcionesrutas or the QR code on the poster. Because the better we know what surrounds us, the more reasons we have to take care of it. 🌱
