Chichon dirige por vez primera en temporada la Sinfonía nº 5 de de Mahler, gigantesco fresco donde late con fuerza el pulso de la vida y sus múltiples expresiones: desde el fatalismo y el aire trágico de la Marcha Fúnebre, pasando por la extroversión y el aire danzable del Scherzo, hasta el vibrante Rondo final. Y entre estos el Adagietto, pasaje de lirismo trascendido, ha alcanzado extraordinaria fama gracias a su inclusión en la obra maestra de Luchino Visconti Muerte en Venecia. Como perfecto complemento, la riqueza contrapuntística del Concierto para teclado BWV1058 de Bach, con el grancanario Isaac Martínez Mederos al piano. * Los menos de 16 años deben venir acompañados de un adulto.
