40th Anniversary of the Santa Brígida Municipal Market

🎉🎂 The Santa Brígida Municipal Market will be decked out in its finest next Sunday, 27 September, to commemorate its 40th Anniversary. To mark four decades of continuous activity in the service of the public and in support of local produce, the Santa Brígida Town Council, through the Municipal Markets Department headed by Carmen Juez, has prepared a full programme of activities designed for all ages. 🍲 🛝 The festive day, which will begin at 9:30 a.m., will combine tradition, family leisure and gastronomy. Those who come to the market will be able to enjoy tastings of local products, children’s entertainment in a ludopark area, raffles and various live musical performances. 👥 One of the most significant and institutional moments of the commemoration will be the recognition ceremony, in which tribute will be paid to the people who have made it possible for this space to remain a benchmark of proximity in the municipality. In addition, the official presentation of the new visual identity and logo of the Municipal Market will take place. 🎶 The grand finale of the event will come at 12:30 p.m. with a performance by the emblematic Canarian group Los Gofiones, who will offer a special concert to celebrate this very special anniversary together with residents and visitors. The Town Council invites the public to join this celebration and share a festive day in recognition of the fundamental role of local commerce in the development of Santa Brígida.
